Unfortunately, Adam Yauch is not getting any older, but his rhymes will continue to age like fine wine. Here’s another wine lyric taken from the song Body Movin’ off of the album Hello Nasty: “The sound of the music drivin’ you insane/You can’t explain to people this type of mind frame/Like a bottle of Chateau Neuf du Pape /I’m fine like wine when I start to rap.”

In tribute to the man and the rhyme I chose one of the best CDP, if not the best, of the category. Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe “La Crau” Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a rich and layered wine with wonderfully masculine scents and flavors like leather and spice that make you want to sniff deeply and go, “mnnnAaaaahhhh…” A fine wine with enough substance and heft to accompany any Beastie Boys rap or jam and the taste goes on and on and on… Raise your glasses.
