Today is an important day to cast your vote in the hopes that the outcome will align with your beliefs and what is meaningful to you. Many of you know that salmon mean a great deal to me, my family, and friends. Reading a piece this morning written about the work that was done by two Social Anthropologists in my family’s home region of Bristol Bay really brought me to a place of clarity. The piece really exemplifies a sense of core values in my opinion.

May we all recognize what is important to us on this day and do our parts to move our lives in that direction. Take the time to vote if you have not done so already.
