We fish for salmon in Bristol Bay, captain boats, pick and pull nets. We sell fish, save some for ourselves, and eat fish. We share this bounty with our families and friends. It fills us and satisfies us in a way like no other food can. What goes to market does the same for those who recognize the worth of this valuable food source.
We want to keep doing this until our bodies can no longer do this. We want this for our children and for their children…
