It’s your day Dad! You are probably already up and working on your boat getting ready for another season in Bristol Bay. Thank you for finding all of the salmon you have found over the years. They have provided for your family, your crewmembers’ lives and their families, and they have fed countless people around the world.
Thank you for teaching me how to ski and patiently logging so many kilometers with me. The ski love lives on in my kids.
When I set to thinking of the perfect wine for your special day, it didn’t take long. I immediately thought of a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir created by the man who established the first vines in the area. David Lett’s The Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Noir wines from the South Block Reserve are an example of the legacy that he began back in the sixties. Around the same time that you and Mom began building your life together and you started building your knowledge of Bristol Bay.
I love you!
